ELECTROGRAPH“S REVOLUTIONHD™ FLAT PANEL LINE SELECTED AS INFOCOMM PRODUCT AWARDS FINALIST

April 26, 2007 – HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK –

Electrograph Systems, Inc.

, one of the nation‘s largest display technology distributors, today announced the RevolutionHD™ family of installer-oriented LCD and Plasma displays has been named a finalist in the “Plasma and LCD” category for Rental & Staging Systems magazine‘s 2007 InfoComm product awards competition.

The new flat panel line, which is exclusively distributed by Electrograph, has received numerous industry accolades since it began shipping in February, according to Sam Taylor, president of Electrograph Systems, Inc. “RevolutionHD displays were chosen by the Imaging Science Foundation for commercial and residential training. They were also selected for use in an EHX video boot camp session and to broadcast the internal newscast during NSCA.” He continued, “We are thrilled by the positive response from the industry, which is further validated by the selection of the RevolutionHD line as an InfoComm product award finalist.”

The RevolutionHD line is available with Imaging Science Foundation Certification Calibration Controls (ISFccc), an elite enhancement that allows certified installers to add more value by using the special controls to fine-tune the image for both bright and dark environments. Once calibrated, all the user has to do is choose a menu option to optimize the picture quality to a degree of fidelity and realism that is otherwise unattainable.

“The RevolutionHD flat panels stand out as one of a few to be certified by the Imaging Science Foundation for precise calibration,” explained David Keene, executive editor of Rental & Staging Systems magazine. “This is a great new feature that allows companies to calibrate the panel and make sure the customer is not only getting the best possible image, as was intended when the product shipped from the factory, but also the image that is best for the particular application.”

The Rental & Staging Systems Awards competition is sponsored by InfoComm International. Award winners will be determined based on public votes, which can be placed until May 14 at (

About RevolutionHD Displays

The RevolutionHD displays have generated great interest for their ability to improve installer profitability through limited distribution, high performance features, competitive pricing and a complete warranty.

The RevolutionHD line packs the latest HD technology into sleek 32”, 37”, 42” and 46” LCD displays and a 50” plasma display. The displays are built to the toughest standards for even the most sophisticated automation systems and are versatile enough for use in a wide range of professional and home applications, from a boardroom, lobby or network operation center to a home theater, kitchen or master bathroom.

High performance features such as enhanced 1080i video processing and PC and HDTV compatibility allow the displays to offer a seamless broadcast of all mediums and the clearest picture possible. The line includes additional “revolutionary” benefits — RS-232 control, split screen picture-in-picture, portrait/landscape mounting, HDMI, component, RGB, “S” and composite inputs – all for a very competitive price.

The entire RevolutionHD line is backed by a Quick Swap advanced replacement program, which gives users the ability to exchange a display in need of repair for an entirely new one during the first year of ownership. The Quick Swap program allows professionals to have a brand new display in their facility within days, as opposed to the several weeks often required for a standard repair.
