NanoLumens® CEO Rick Cope Named Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year by Atlanta Business Chronicle in Partnership with the Atlanta Metro Chamber

Rick Cope was one of 18 finalists in a field that included six categories of entrepreneurs.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA, September 21, 2017 — NanoLumens, the award-winning creators of uniquely compelling interactive LED visualization solutions, today announced that Founder and CEO Rick Cope has been named the 2017 Veteran Entrepeneur of the Year by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in partnership with the Metro Atlanta Chamber in their 31st annual Small Business Person of the Year Awards Program.  The winners, selected from a field of 18 finalists in six award categories, were announced this morning at an awards ceremony held at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia. 

The annual Small Business Person of the Year Award Program pays tribute to top entrepreneurs who are leading their companies to success.  The 18 finalists in this year’s program represented six categories that incuded Early Stage Entrepreneur, Emerging Entrepreneur, Experienced Entrepreneur, Minority Entrepreneur, Rising Star, and Veteran Entrepreneur.  Rick Cope was selected Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year from a field of three finalists that also included Anisa Palmer, Executive Director and Founder of I Will Survive, Inc. and Kurt Sobotka, Co-Founder and President of Prime Technical Services, Inc.
