PowerHouse Alliance to Host CEDIA Certification Roadshow for Amazon Home Technology Pro Engagement Program

Integrators across the country can become CEDIA ESC-T certified in order to take advantage of real leads and sell pre-packaged services to Amazon customers.

Pittsburgh, PA – December 8, 2017 – The PowerHouse Alliance has teamed up with CEDIA for the month of December, to offer integrators the opportunity to become ESC-T certified in order to qualify for the Amazon Home Technology Pro Engagement Program.

“Millions of people shop for electronics and other IoT and technology solutions on Amazon, but often times realize they are not qualified to install the product or system,” said Dennis Holzer, Executive Director for the PowerHouse Alliance. “Amazon’s Home Technology Pro Engagement Program is designed to provide the installer with access to those Do-It-For-Me Amazon customers in their geographic area, and have the opportunity to sell them pre-packaged installation services.”

Amazon’s Home Technology Pro Engagement Program is a win-win for integrators. Once ESC-T certification is complete and they are selected by Amazon, there are no fees associated with the program. Local integrator services appear in search results with related products on Amazon, and customers are able to purchase those installation services along with their choice of products. It’s a great way for integrators to gain additional business, increase visibility in their local market and fill gaps in their schedule with minimal marketing effort.

Integrators interested in the program can register for one of six sessions in December, four of which will be hosted by PowerHouse Alliance distributor members: Mountain West Distributors in Denver, CO and Ui Supplies in Clifton, NJ on December 11, Sierra Select Distributors in Oakland, CA on December 13, and Volutone in Van Nuys, CA on December 15.

Other PowerHouse Alliance trainings available to dealers in December include a QSC Vendor Day at ECD’s Houston, TX location on December 8, and Lutron RadioRA 2 Level 1 Training from CED on December 14 in New Berlin, WI.
