RCF USA Appoints Northmar Inc. as Manufacturer Representative for Pacific Northwest

RCF USA announces the appoiintment of Northmar, Inc. as Manufacturer Representative for the Pacific Northwest territory, effective September 1. Northmar, Inc. (www.northmar.com) will represent the RCF brand of products in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska.

“With over a half century of history in the territory, the strength of their long-term relationships with their customers and the synergy of products offered in their Pro Audio division makes Northmar the perfect choice for us,” says RCF USA National Sales Manager Tarik Solangi.

Founded in 1952, the Seattle-based Northmar, Inc. is a second generation company founded by Robert (Bob) Entrop and Ray Johnston. In 1991, Entrop’s sons Bob Jr., Rick and Russ took over ownership and management of the firm. Today, they operate three divisions – Professional Audio Products, Consumer Audio Products and Industrial Products.

In the Professional Audio division, “our audio products market focus is commercial install, broadcast, studio, touring and live sound,” says principal Bob Entrop Jr., adding “as well as custom home applications and installations, retail audio and custom audio/video installations.

Some of the products in Northmar’s Professional Audio division include Avlex, Mipro, Superlux, Crest, Fiberplex, Furman, Media Matrix, Peavey Architectural Acoustics and Xantech. To enchance visibility in the marketplace and maintain their technical expertise, Northmar, Inc. is a member of the Electronic Representatives Association (ERA), NAMM, and the IPRO Professional Sales Force Association.
