TVU Networks to Showcase Benefits of Live IP Video Solutions for Houses of Worship at Upcoming NRB Convention

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – TVU Networks will showcase a range of its live IP video solutions at the upcoming National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) International Christian Media Convention, taking place at the Orlando World Center Marriott from February 27-March 2.  The NRB is an internationally recognized organization dedicated to assisting those in the field of Christian communications. TVU Networks will demonstrate the benefits its technology offers religious broadcasters from booth #532 on the show floor. Included among its offerings on display will be the TVU One live IP newsgathering transmitter, TVU Grid video switching, routing, and distribution solution and TVU RPS (Remote Production System).

TVU will also have a representative presenting at the Television Summit sessions as well as in the Learning Arena. Held in the Exhibit Hall, the Learning Arena presentation will take place on Wednesday, March 1 from 3:30-4pm on the topic of Using Mobile Live Video to Extend Community Reach.

“As more and more houses of worship grow their congregations, stream content online, and expand into multisite churches that reach audiences around the world, it becomes increasingly important to be able to produce and share high-quality video,” said Paul Shen, CEO, TVU Networks. ”Our IP transmission solutions enable churches to easily and effectively share live video, and we look forward to showing event attendees how they can easily move their productions to the next level.”

TVU One is a compact, all-in-one solution that enables users to transmit dependable HD quality video through multiple transmission mediums, including cellular, satellite, microwave, MIMO Mesh, WiFi, Ethernet and BGAN. Because TVU One offers mobility and connectivity through cellular technology, churches can easily conduct transmissions anywhere, including events like holiday celebrations and mass. With TVU One, churches can fully leverage the versatility of a lightweight, IP-based high-definition video field transmitter without sacrificing performance, features or picture quality. TVU One features TVU’s proprietary IS+ technology for delivery of high quality live video no matter the streaming environment. TVU Networks’ IP video solutions also feature Facebook Live integration capabilities, which allow churches to live stream services to their Facebook pages and reach a wider audience.

TVU Networks will also showcase TVU Grid – a powerful IP-based video switching, routing and distribution system that enables content creators to acquire live video from different sources and distribute it to other locations in real-time and without disruption. With TVU Grid, houses of worship can collect live video of sermons and events from any transmission source, such as an SDI feed or IP video camera, and stream it over the Internet to all remote locations with ease. With TVU Grid’s direct-to-web content distribution capabilities, churches can extend their reach to viewers beyond their worship locations with live, high-quality online video. Featuring an intuitive web-based interface, operating TVU Grid is simple – making it an ideal choice for houses of worship that rely on volunteers for video productions.

TVU Networks will also display TVU RPS in its booth at NRB. TVU RPS is a newly introduced, cost-effective alternative for on-location remote live video production. The solution allows for the production of a live, synchronized multi-camera program in a remote location using mainly a house of worship’s existing control room and a public Internet connection from the field. The TVU RPS transmitter encodes up to six synchronized SDI sources and transmits high-quality and low-latency IP video from the remote location to a studio-based receiver, and the receiver outputs six synchronized SDI outputs.

Already in use by hundreds of leading broadcast organizations around the world, the TVU Networks family of IP transmission solutions give broadcasters and organizations a powerful and reliable tool to distribute live video content to broadcast, online and mobile platforms. The TVU Networks suite of solutions has been used to deliver professional-quality live HD footage of a number of important events around the world including the World Cup, both Summer and Winter Olympic Games, U.S. presidential elections, natural disasters, the 2013 Papal conclave, the Super Bowl, the 2015 Papal visit to the United States and several international sporting events.  For more information about TVU Networks solutions, please visit www.tvunetworks.com.
