12/07/2017 10:49 AM

LAFAYETTE, Colo. — Dec. 7, 2017 — Women in Consumer Technology, an organization that promotes the advancement of women in the consumer technology industry, today announced the six recipients of its 2018 Legacy Awards. The award honors exceptional women who are transforming the consumer technology industry through leadership in the retail, sales and marketing, integration, publishing, and trade association segments. They will be recognized during the Women in Consumer Technology's annual networking reception on Jan. 9, 2018, during CES.

"We continue to see positive support and growth from women across all sectors in the consumer technology industry, which is truly amazing," said Carol Campbell, founder of Women in CT. "The Legacy Awards gives us the opportunity each year to acknowledge these remarkable women who push the boundaries at their companies and inspire other women around them. Like in years past, it was difficult to narrow down the final recipients from all the nominations that we received."

The Women in Consumer Technology 2018 Legacy Award honorees include:

Stephanie Dismore, vice president and general manager, Americas channels, at HP Inc. In her role, Dismore is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of HP's commercial and consumer channel sales in the U.S. During her 18-year tenure at HP, Dismore has held a variety of leadership positions in sales, marketing, and channel roles. She has inspired the people around her with her philosophy that the best leadership qualities are transparency, confidence, and empathy.

Eden Goldberg, vice president of marketing and business development at InMotion Entertainment Group, LLC. She is responsible for conceiving the national chain's brand through store design, merchandising materials, public relations, and social media strategy, as well as for procuring exclusive partnerships and new product launches. She has been recognized with numerous industry awards, including Dealerscope's 40 Under 40 in 2016 and Dealerscope's first Powerful Women in Consumer Technology Award in 2016. She recently joined NAPCO's CT advisory board.

Bonnie Perella, eastern regional sales manager for Milestone AV. She started in the electronics industry doing office management, answering sales calls, processing orders, and making collection calls for a family-owned business. While at that company, she also attended her first CES and was hooked. Since that time, she has worked for speaker manufacturer Boston Acoustics, Parasound, Panamax, Monster Cable, Atlantic Technology, and Furman Sound, with each role strengthening her dedication to the CE market.

Heather Sidorowicz, owner and president of Southtown Audio Video. Her roots are on the front lines, working directly with the client selling and designing audio/video solutions. It's her mission to find technology and products that improve the quality of life where one works, lives, and plays. She is a regular contributor to the CE media, including Residential Systems, CEDIA Communicates, and The Rayva Roundtable. Sidorowicz was most recently appointed to the CEDIA board after years of volunteering in the association and will begin her appointment in January 2018.
