WorldStage Promotes Shawn Oatey to Director of Marketing and Welcomes Dan Esparza as National Account Manager

WorldStage is pleased to announce that Shawn Oatey has been promoted to the new position of Director of Marketing and Dan Esparza has joined the company as National Account Manager. Both are based at WorldStage's Tustin, California office.

WorldStage is pleased to announce that Shawn Oatey has been promoted to the new position of Director of Marketing and Dan Esparza has joined the company as National Account Manager.  Both are based at WorldStage’s Tustin, California office. 

Shawn Oatey steps up to Director of Marketing ten years after he began his WorldStage career with Video Applications. Oatey holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of California, San Diego and the University of San Francisco, respectively.

“Given the complexities of marketing in this digital age, a dedicated position within the company was necessary and we’re very pleased that Shawn has taken on the role. His industry experience coupled with a deep understanding of business communications makes him a natural for this new position,” says Josh Weisberg, President and COO at WorldStage.

Additionally, Dan Esparza has come on board at WorldStage as National Account Manager bringing a roster of strong client relationships and more than ten years of industry experience in sales and operational roles

Dan Esparza was formerly Senior Account Manager for AV Concepts in San Diego.  Prior to that he spent seven years managing the event technology departments for the luxury hotel brands The Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California and The Four Seasons in Las Vegas.  He graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s degree in recording arts technology.
