Pro Audio Meets IT: Advances in Small Format Mixers

Pro Audio Meets IT: Advances in Small Format Mixers

Nov 11, 2010 11:22 AM

Are advances in IT/pro audio integration only for the high end? This was once true, but no longer. Now small to mid-sized churches, schools, and corporate applications can benefit from these capabilities and workflows. IT-enabled options allow integrators and customers across the range of project budgets to simplify installation and support, troubleshoot, and control—even remotely via Internet and/or iPad. These features also make it easy for customers to expand the application of their small-format mixer to support live capture and distribution without added cost and with minimal support. Internet and iPad interfaces allow for modern, streamlined efficiencies for both integrator and user. Join SVC Editor Cynthia Wisehart and former EM editor Steve Oppenheimer for an eye-opening tutorial session as they walk you through a range of scenarios where IT meets pro AV in the small-format mixer.
