Matrox Video Products Group and UBC Technology Pte. Announce Southeast Asia Partnership Agreement

MONTREAL — Feb. 14, 2012 — Matrox(R) Video Products Group today announced the company has entered into a new distributor agreement with Singapore-based UBC Technology Pte. Ltd. to further strengthen Southeast Asia sales and support.

“It is important that we have a strong partner in Southeast Asia to provide ongoing sales and first-rate customer service to our customers,” said Mingkai Yang, Matrox director of sales, Asia-Pacific. “We believe that the company’s considerable experience and expertise within this region will enable us to grow our business tremendously, while at the same time allowing UBC Technology to expand its breadth of product offerings to their customers.”

UBC Technology Pte. Ltd. will represent the full line of Matrox video products including the two newest additions: the Matrox Mojito MAX(TM) I/O card and the award-winning Matrox MC-100(TM) SDI-to-HDMI mini converter. Under the agreement, UBC will also distribute and support the popular Matrox MXO2(TM) I/O devices, Matrox Convert(TM) DVI and Convert DVI Plus scan converters, and Matrox Developer Products.
