In 2013, RCF rolled out the new Media Series of passive installation cabinets offering a 360Aº approach to the sound system design. With the addition of new Media small sized models the RCF Installed Sound Catalogue offers a complete portfolio – from Media Series to Acustica C Series two-way and H Series three-way cabinets to the Audio System Engineer. With this RCF becomes a single source, trusted partner, from the smallest to the most complex audio project.
Voiced for the usual incredible vocal clarity and high frequency definition with controlled bass response.
For the integrator, connectivity is via removable screw terminal blocks. The Media Series cabinets include M8 and M10 flypoints. In addition, there is an optional horizontal U-bracket for mounting or unique horizontal/vertical adjustable swivel wall mount bracket.
The initial offering of the Media Series featured five models, from the smallest 5.5” to the largest 2 x 6.5”, providing the ideal solution for small to medium sized projects.
In 2014, RCF expands that series with the introduction of 10” and 12” two-way cabinets, three subwoofers, and select cabinets now available in white.

For 2014, two new models including a 10” and 12” have been added to the two-way lineup:

• M1202 – 12” MR/LF + 1” HF. 300W. 129 dB max SPL. 55Hz-20kHz. 90×70. 24.4”x14.9”x16”
Three new subwoofers have been added to the series. The bass reflex cabinets add the enhanced low frequency response necessary in a system, handling frequencies from 50-200 Hz. Designed to handle peak power 4X more than RMS power handling rating.

The Media Series now offers three cabinets in either black or white finish – M501, M601 and M801.
