FOR-A to Demo the FT-ONE 4K Super Slow Motion Camera at Sports Video Group‘s League Technology Summit

Fort Lee, N.J.–

Professionals in the sports industry will gather next week to discuss best practices and share new technologies in sports production at the Sports Video Group’s League Technology Summit.

FOR-A

Company Limited, a leading manufacturer of video and audio systems for the broadcast and professional video industries, will exhibit the FT-ONE full 4K high resolution

variable frame rate camera

at the event. The summit takes place at the New York Hilton today and tomorrow, December 10-11.

Introduced earlier this year, the FT-ONE 4K super slow motion camera is ideal for high-end sports production. The camera features FOR-A’s originally developed, state-of-the-art high-sensitivity CMOS color sensor. The FT-ONE has the ability to record up to 900 frames per second, and can record and play back full 4K film look imagery. One output channel can provide full 4K (four 1080p HD-SDI) outputs, while the other output channel provides down-converted HD-SDI for live viewing and play back. The FT-ONE captures images as uncompressed raw data on the system’s internal memory, which has a recording capacity of 9.4 seconds. This data is then stored on one of two hot-swappable SSD cartridges, each of which is capable of storing 84 seconds of full 4K resolution images.

“The SVG Technology Summit focuses on the latest products and trends in sports production,” said Pedro Silvestre, Sales Director, FOR-A America. “As the world’s first full 4K super slow motion camera, the FT-ONE epitomizes the idea of product innovation. This is the reason why we chose to demo the camera at this event. We feel that the summit is a great chance for FOR-A to showcase the FT-ONE to some of the top professionals in the sports technology industry.”

The SVG League Technology Summit will feature an exhibition hall of more than 60 exhibitors. The event will offer meetings and workshops to discuss challenges and emerging technologies surrounding the areas of mobile engineering and innovation in sports.
