In this edition, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles continues his talk with Aidan Williams, chief technical officer for Audinate in Sydney, Australia, the company behind the development and marketing for Dante, the new digital audio networking technology being adopted by many hardware manufacturers. Williams examines the different learning curves on Dante setup and configuration between the largest outdoor events and the most simple two-device systems. He also explores the question of how much IP networking experience one should have for using this level-three audio networking protocol.
