This in-person event, hosted by SVC’s sister brands, Installation and TVBEurope, explores the evolving relationship between AV and broadcast, including converging workflows and technologies. It takes place June 24th in London. AV & Broadcast Summit will bring together practitioners from both sectors to examine shared workflows, technologies, and opportunities across key areas, including IP, cloud, virtual production, AI, and control room design.
The AV & Broadcast Summit will focus on the shared technologies, workflows, and challenges shaping the next generation of media, enterprise, and mission-critical infrastructure environments.
Geared towards insight, strategy, and real-world experience, the Summit provides a neutral forum for informed debate, practical learning, and peer-to-peer exchange at the intersection of AV, broadcast, and the IT infrastructures that increasingly underpin both.
In the opening session, speakers from Caretta Research and Futuresource Consulting will detail where the two sectors overlap today and where differences remain. Subsequent panels throughout the day will examine how broadcast technology and virtual production are moving to the enterprise and the campus; software-defined infrastructure, cloud workflows, and network-based signal transport; rethinking media workflows for AI; and modern control room design.
Speakers include Andy Quested from EBU/ITU; Paul Kane from ITV, Benji Fox from the Royal Academy of Arts, Alex Counsell from the University of Portsmouth, and more.
