Home server hardware options.
Last month, LaCie announced a new product based on Windows Home Server called the 5big Backup Server. I’m hoping to get my hands on one soon, but in the meantime, I thought this would be a good opportunity to list all products that are powered by Windows Home Server, including some technical details and pricing. If you’re in the market for a Home Server, you can use this information as a buyers’ guide to help you in your search.
All prices are either list price from the manufacturer, or list price from third-party web sites such as Amazon.com, etc.
This list will be updated as new products arrive, or if the specifications change, so be sure to check back if you’re still a few months away from a purchase. So far, we have products from HP, Acer, Asus, Levono, and now LaCie.

Is there something that you want me to cover for Windows Home Server? If so, drop me a line. I love hearing from you!
Until next month, have fun with your Windows Home Server.
