
- Blackmagic debuts first commercial camera for Apple Immersive Video
Several manufacturers have are committing to the Apple Vision Pro’s immersive video format, and Blackmagic Design has thrown its hat into the ring with what it is calling “the world’s first commercial camera system for Apple Immersive Video.” The Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive features a fixed, custom lens system pre-installed on the body, which the company says is designed specifically to capture Apple Immersive Video. - Applied Materials announces OLED production “breakthrough”
The “MAX OLED solution,” is claimed to not only increase display brightness threefold and increase resolution to around 2,000 PPI, but also reduce power consumption and greatly improve the lifespan of the display.

Weighing just 10g, the Mic Mini comes in at less than half the weight of its older sibling, the Mic 2. The Mic Mini system includes a receiver, two transceivers, and a charging case that charges all three components.
- Samsung’s upcoming projector the first to receive 8K certification
Samsung’s The Premiere 8K projector is the first to be certified by the 8K Association. The association recently revealed its projector certification program, as part of its initiative to support the the 8K ecosystem.
- China bans export of key tech materials to the U.S.
The Chinese Commerce Ministry has announced it will be banning U.S.-bound exports of several key materials with tech and military applications, including gallium, germanium, and antimony.
