Dubai’s leadership has announced plans to add a new passenger terminal to its Al Maktoum International Airport as part of a $35 billion expansion. The expansion, which would make Al Maktoum International five times larger than the Dubai International Airport, aims to make Al Maktoum the busiest airport in the world.

Sphere Entertainment made its first investment into HOLOPLOT in 2018 when the two companies partnered to develop Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT, when Sphere opened in Las Vegas in September 2023.

- The Vegas Strip’s iconic Mirage Hotel is closing down
The Mirage was acquired by Hard Rock International in 2022 in a deal totaling over $1 billion, and has plans to transform the resort into Hard Rock Las Vegas, tentatively opening in 2027.
