NSCA’s 2012 Business & Leadership Conference Provides Profitable Solutions for a Dynamic Economy

Systems Integration Industry Golf Tournament Returns

Registration is now open for the 2012 NSCA Business & Leadership Conference, the only conference focused on business strategies and professional development for commercial electronic systems executives and managers. The event will be held March 1-3, 2012, at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas, in Dallas, Texas.

Early-bird registration is available for $949, a $100 savings off the price of the conference.

This year’s conference identifies strategies and factors business owners and managers must use in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Understanding the current state of the industry and its outlook ahead, what economic conditions affect your business and what they mean long-term, protecting your business assets from both external and internal factors, hiring elite employees, utilizing social media to enhance your customer service and sales opportunities, along with building a profitable business are just a few of the topics covered during this premiere networking event.

“If I could only afford to go to one event all year long, period, bar none, this would be it. I would forego any tradeshow, anything else to go to this conference,” said Kelly McCarthy, president of Genesis Integration, Inc. “As an integrator, I know a great deal about putting systems together and that’s my passion. But, I didn’t come into this thing with an MBA, and now I am running a fairly large business. It‘s very important that I understand how to run that business. The business conference is what helps give me those tools to grow my business, make my business profitable and be able to network with other individuals.”

Visit www.nsca.org/blc for more information on the event, including registration, session descriptions, speakers and more. Connect with NSCA on LinkedIn and start your networking early as many attendees discuss important issues affecting their business today. Attendees continue to report that the Business & Leadership Conference offers the best opportunities to network and learn from top experts in the industry – each other.

The Evolving Supply Channel

Participate in NSCA’s 3rd Quarter MIB and Gain Valuable Knowledge on the Ever-Changing Supply Channel

Deciding which supplier business owners will partner with has become one of the most important choices that systems integrators are challenged with today. What are the key factors you evaluate when deciding which manufacturers and distributors will earn your business – warranties, sales support, product training? NSCA’s third quarter Market Intelligence Briefing (MIB) will investigate the issues, dynamics and the evolving nature of the supplier/contractor relationship.

Systems Integrators are invited to participate in this survey. Respondents will receive a complimentary copy of the final report. Visit www.nsca.org/mib to participate in the survey.

The NSCA Education Foundation will host its popular golf tournament to kick-off NSCA’s 14th Annual Business & Leadership Conference (BLC) on March 1, 2012, at the TPC Four Seasons at Las Colinas in Dallas, Texas. “NSCA’s Business & Leadership Conference is about networking, so bringing back the tournament during BLC is a natural fit”, said Barbra Snitker, NSCA Education Foundation managing director. “This event is a great opportunity for industry leaders to gather with peers, experience a professional golf course and support a great cause.” The tournament format will be shamble four player and conclude with a luncheon and awards ceremony. The course, home to the HP Byron Nelson Championship – a PGA Tour event, is part of our comprehensive, award-winning golf Resort. The 18-hole, par-70 course measuring 7,166 yards from the championship tees has received a major redesign offering a new layout, designed to be challenging for professional golfers as well as inviting to recreational players.
