BrightSign’s new 4K players are touted by the company as the industry’s first commercial-grade solid-state digital signage media players to deliver true 4K, with H.265 decoding and HDMI 2.0 for playback at 60 fps. There are three players— 4K242, 4K1042, and 4K1142—in the line and they all incorporate HTML5 content support, videowall synchronization, BrightAuthor and BrightSign Network support, as well as support for the latest in streaming technology, including MPEG-DASH. The players are notable for their low power consumption, small footprint, and compact size.
