Control4’s HC-300 home controller serves as a central building block for a smart home, replacing up to four remote controls with a single remote built around a simple interface. The controller offers multiple infrared and serial connections along with video sensing for simple home theater integration. Supported communications technologies include Ethernet, WiFi, and ZigBee mesh networking via USB. The HC-300 controls home theater, multi-room music, smart lighting, security, and HVAC systems. Beefed-up processing power allows for efficient operation of large media databases. An HD onscreen output boosts the quality of the graphic interface.
