Steve Presti, principal of Easy Access Distribution – the Northeast region member of the Catalyst AV distribution network – reports that his company’s 15th annual Emerging Technologies & Home Awareness Expo, held October 15th and 16th at the Billerica, Massachusetts Courtyard by Marriott, had an attendance of 185 integrators.

Vivitek projectors, Definitive Technology, Denon and DaLite came to together to demonstrate Dolby Atmos.
“Many of the trainings were 50+ attendees per session; proof-positive that integrators want to learn how to seize new opportunities,” says Presti. “We also had the 1st showing in New England of a deliverable Dolby Atmos system which created the anticipated response of a well-designed high-performance experience. All of these products are not the same – and we demonstrated this at the event.”

They get a hands-on experience as well an opportunity for me to direct them on ‘what’s new / what’s not,’ ‘what’s hot / what’s not,’ ‘what the trends are,’ etc… I do not often have the luxury to touch so many dealers face-to-face in two short days!”
30 manufacturers had tables setup at the event to showcase their newest offerings.
