Cory FitzGerald, the Lighting Designer for Justin Timberlake’s ongoing “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour” and Senior Partner at Burbank-based creative studio Silent House, is using 30 Robert Juliat 864 LED asymmetric footlights featuring a four-color mixing system to line the stage at the singer-songwriter’s shows. ACT Entertainment is the exclusive North American distributor of Robert Juliat lighting.
“When the 864 color version became available I decided to use them for the tour. They quite effectively line the downstage edge of the main stage providing foot lighting and key light fill for Justin, the dancers, and the band.”
Solotech, Montreal is supplying the Dalis 864 footlights. Solotech was also behind the integration of an L-Acoustics K1 and K2 system, tailoring each system to the many worldwide arenas on the tour.
One of the main attractions of the show is “The Monolith”, measuring an enormous 30×16 feet and covered in LED panels. Timberlake will ride The Monolith out of the back wall of the stage and perform. TAIT collaborated with Timberlake’s creative team to bring The Monolith to life. ROE Visual V8T transparent LED screens also contribute to the video impact.
