The Intelix extenders had a unique appearance because they were one of the only sets that were silver. It came in a very nicely arranged retail package and was well packed for shipping. This unit has bi-directional IR in addition to having Ethernet passthrough, which supports the HDMI 1.4 specification. The price was one of the more expensive sets tested, and the performance with both Cat-5 and Cat-6 cables was above the average value of all extenders tested. Dealing with Liberty AV tech support was very easy, and the company was very quick to respond to our inquiries.
