Lutron Electronics Announces Dates for 2016 Residential Opportunities Tour

Now in its sixth year, the tour has been attended by thousands of residential systems providers throughout the US and Canada

Coopersburg, PA (February 25, 2016)—Lutron Electronics, the leader in energy-saving lighting and shade control, is continuing to support its residential systems providers with the announcement of its 2016 Residential Opportunities tour schedule. Started in 2011, the tour is designed to offer hands-on training and education for Lutron providers selling RadioRA® 2 and HomeWorks® QStotal home control systems. The 2016 tour will visit 15 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The 2016 tour offers four targeted sessions to best suit the needs of each attendee –

  1. Full-day session for HomeWorks QS Qualified Accounts is designed for principals, project managers, programmers, installers, and system designers from HomeWorks QS qualified accounts. The session will cover an overview of RadioRA 2 10.0 hardware and software, in-depth updates on HomeWorks 10.0 software and hardware, shading solutions overview, Ivalo® new product updates, system upgrades, programming discussion, and a myLutron overview.
  2. Full-day session for HomeWorks QS Qualified Programmers is designed for programmers and system designers from HomeWorks QS qualified accounts. The session will cover HomeWorks QS 10.0 hardware and software updates, advanced programming for the Lutron Connect Bridge and app, Palladiom™ keypads, and Dynamic Backlight Management. This session will also cover advanced troubleshooting topics.
  3. Full-day session for Authorized Shading Accounts is designed for shade installers. The session will cover angled, coupled shades, curved drapery, corner-mount applications, Intelligent Hembar Alignment, and tensioned shades, all with hands-on measuring, installation and SCT exercises.
  4. Half-day session for RadioRA 2 Trained Installers is designed for Lutron Champions, electrical contractors, A/V installers, and lighting showroom employees. The session will cover Caséta® Wireless updates, new product information for battery powered shades, RadioRA 2 hardware and software updates, and Lutron Connect Bridge features review.
