QSC CXD Series

QSC has announced two new amplifier families, the CXD series for installed sound applications and the PLD series for portable/live sound reinforcement applications. The Flexible Amplifier Summing Technology (FAST) provides power allocation by actively distributing the total amplifier power across one, two, three, or all four outputs, enabling amp channels to be combined for maximum current or voltage output with the largest models capable of up to 5,000W. With independent DSP processing available for every channel, a preset wizard streamlines the setup process, simplifying amplifier configuration and deployment. Advanced DSP includes crossover filters, parametric EQ, alignment delay, and other dynamics processing. The CXD lineup includes the CXD4.2 (400W @ 8Ω, continuous), the CXD4.3 (625W @ 8Ω, continuous) and the CXD4.5 (1150W @ 8Ω, continuous) with the CXD 4.3 and CXD4.5 able to direct drive 70V and 100V systems. The rear panel features four balanced Euroblock input connectors and four Euroblock touch-proof loudspeaker connectors. The PLD line consists of the PLD4.2 (400W @ 8Ω, continuous), the PLD4.3 (625W @ 8Ω, continuous) and the PLD4.5 (1150W @ 8Ω, continuous). The rear panel features four balanced XLR input connectors with loop-thru and six Speakon NL4 loudspeaker connectors. Availability: Now
