Renkus-Heinz Varia
The new Renkus-Heinz Varia loudspeaker system includes the VAVAX101 array modules and the VA/VAX15S 15in. subwoofers. Varia101s are built around a highpower 10in. low-frequency woofer, coupled with either one or two neodymium high-frequency compression drivers. VA101 cabinets are self-powered, with integral PF2-500R DSP and CobraNet-enabled amp modules. VAX101 enclosures require external amplification and DSP processing. The low-frequency output of the VA/VAX15S subwoofers extends down below 40Hz and delivers a peak SPL output of up to 129dB, providing a solid foundation for any musical performance. VA/VAX15S subwoofers can be ground stacked and used as a sturdy base for one or more Varia array modules. They can also be flown as separate low frequency arrays, or flown at the top of full-range Varia arrays, keeping the entire system off the floor. Availability: September Price: $5,250 (VA101-15)
