Revolabs to Exhibit FLX UC Conference Phones at Enterprise Connect 2016

SUDBURY, Mass. — March 1, 2016 — Revolabs(R), Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation, announced today that it will be demonstrating its family of FLX(TM) UC conference phones in booth 1334 at Enterprise Connect 2016, an annual conference focused on systems, software, services, and applications for communication technology. Revolabs will join more than 180 major system and software vendors at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, March 7-9.

Revolabs will showcase its family of FLX UC USB and VoIP conference phones, featuring the FLX UC 1500, which is designed to provide natural, “in-person” sound in larger conference room environments. By making it easier for teams working from multiple locations to hear each other clearly, the FLX UC 1500 removes many barriers to effective communication and collaboration, boosting productivity, and eliminating frustration. Conference attendees and media representatives will have the opportunity to learn how the FLX UC 1500 enhances the conferencing experience and how specific implementations have delivered direct business benefits, such as:

* Natural, “in-person” sound — With two directional microphones and four corner microphones, the FLX UC 1500 captures 360 degrees of sound in larger conference rooms for up to 18 participants, so everyone can be heard without the need to shout or reposition the phone. The FLX UC 1500’s microphone input capabilities (up to 16kHz) make it ideal for use with UC and WebRTC applications that employ ultra-wideband audio codecs such as Opus. This ensures that the spoken word is fully captured, allowing the person who is speaking to be readily heard, and properly understood. This improved intelligibility aids conference participants in different locations, who speak in a variety of native languages or with unfamiliar accents, to be clearly heard.
* An economical UC solution — With support for both USB audio and SIP telephony that works with all market-leading IP PBXs, Revolabs offers a single device for multiple communication protocols. Users can bridge calls between their VoIP network and popular USB platforms such as Microsoft(R) Skype for Business, Cisco(R) Jabber, Vidyo(R), WebEx(R), Zoom(R), and many others. This flexibility reduces the footprint of tabletop equipment and simplifies calling. The FLX UC 1500 makes it easy and economical to transition from traditional telephony to unified communications with a single device.
* Easy Operation for End Users — The FLX UC 1500’s intuitive interface reduces user frustration and error, the need for costly technical support, and leads to increased utilization of conferencing services provided within the organization. With plug-and-play USB connectivity, end users can quickly connect, dial, and commence communication in just moments. The phone’s uniform look and feel conforms to the entire Revolabs portfolio to provide a familiar user interface for users.

The FLX UC family of conference phones solves audio quality problems users encounter every day so they can focus on the meeting instead of the technology that enables it.
