Tripp Lite has introduced a new serial over Cat-5 extender kit (model B165-101) that provides remote access to any RS-232 protocol device. The B165-101 is a cost-effective solution for PC-to-PC file transfer, touchscreen displays, and other applications that use serial communications. It is compatible with all RS-232 protocols. The kit locates an RS-232 serial device over distances up to 3289ft. (1000 meters), supports full-duplex data communication, and requires no special software or drivers. Price: NA
