Who knew such great AV work was happening in Minnesota? When PRO AV began the rewarding task of poring over all the entries for these, our very first Spotlight Awards, we noticed several came from the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Who knew such great AV work was happening in Minnesota? When PRO AV began the rewarding task of poring over all the entries for these, our very first Spotlight Awards, we noticed several came from the Land of 10,000 Lakes, including a project by Graybow Communications at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital, which won one of two special Judges’ Awards for its unique (in this case heartwarming) application of AV.
But really, great work is happening everywhere. The PRO AV’s Spotlight Awards recognize 11 projects from nine states and the District of Columbia. What they all have in common is an emphasis on teamworkâeuro”on AV integrators listening hard to the needs of end-users, consulting with architects and builders, and delivering a system or systems that has a measurable impact on how people work, worship, learn, and enjoy themselves. From a sports bar in Atlanta to a Marine operations center in Honolulu, the PRO AV Spotlight Award winners represent what’s best in a changing, ever-more-prominent technology practice.
