ActiveSource, the digital signage services division of ActiveLight, will host two digital signage webinars in November aimed at educating industry professionals and users on the fundamentals of digital signage.

The first webinar, “Digital Signage 101: Value of Digital Signage,” will be held on Nov. 2 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. PST and will focus on defining the core components and essential considerations organizations face when evaluating digital signage as part of their visual communication plan. The information will be valuable for all stakeholders in the decision-making process, including individuals involved in training, sales, marketing, IT, and operations, as well as advertising and creative agencies. The second webinar, “Digital Signage 101: Selling Digital Signage,” will be held Nov. 9 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. PST and will be geared toward resellers or integrators interested in becoming involved in the professional digital signage industry.

The cost to participate in either webinar is $250, and a reduced price of $150 will be offered to ActiveLight and ActiveSource members. All participants that register by Oct. 31 will receive an additional $50 off registration costs.

Registration is required and can be made through www.activesource.com/webinar up until the morning of the webinars.

“As part of ActiveSource’s commitment to digital signage excellence we have taken our more than seven years of accumulated knowledge and packed the fundamentals into a one-hour session designed to give the participant a starting point to imagine, engage, and realize the possibilities of this expanding medium,” says Scott Stanton, director of technical services for ActiveSource. “I strongly encourage anyone that wants to learn more about the growing digital signage industry and how they can participate, to attend the appropriate webinar.”

Webinar participants will learn about the history of digital signage and the potential for growth in the market, as well as the components, considerations, and available options for implementing a successful digital signage project. Both webinars will be presented by Stanton and Brad Gleeson, president and COO of ActiveLight.
