AMX Launches Redesigned Corporate Website

Visitors to www.amx.com will encounter a whole new experience. AMX, a worldwide leader in advanced control system technology, launched a new corporate website offering significant benefits to site visitors, including a convenient, user-friendly navigation and search model; substantial new product support materials; and a new section dedicated to the company’s vertical markets.

“We wanted AMX.com to better meet the needs of our dealers, independent programmers, consultants and end users, so we actively solicited feedback from them via surveys and focus groups,” says Rashid Skaf, AMX president and chief executive officer. “Overall, these individuals wanted a site that was easier and more convenient to use, and that offered more product information to all audiences—so that’s exactly what we did, and more.”

Like the previous-generation site, the new AMX.com includes information on AMX University, the company’s extensive training program, and the company’s growing list of more than 150 manufacturer partners.

“Without a doubt, the new website is a more effective communication vehicle for AMX,” Skaf adds. “From the home page, which features dynamic content, to the promotional areas located throughout the site, visitors to AMX.com will know about the exciting things going on at AMX.”

The website’s color palate and overall aesthetic design reflects the company’s corporate branding. A tan background, which eases eye strain, is complimented by muted shades of taupe, green, blue, and gray. For additional visual appeal and enhanced usability, thumbnail images also now accompany most downloads.

Future enhancements to the site, including rich media and additional vertical market content, will be added in the coming months.
