These camps are a great chance to improve your employees’ skills. All boot camps are held at the CEDIA Training Facility in Indianapolis, located right next to CEDIA’s headquarters. ONLINE CEDIA CERTIFICATION COMING SOON
The CEDIA University staff is working hard to organize an online certification system. Certification exams will be administered electronically via a secured, proctored facility. There will be more information available soon. This is one more step CEDIA is taking to make it easier for members to achieve the new member requirements.
CANADA REGIONAL
The 2005 CEDIA Canada Regional was held June 3-6, 2005, in Toronto, Ontario. There was a variety of events and great opportunities for old pros in the industry, as well as those just starting out, to improve their skills.
The event started with full-day workshops on Friday, followed by two days of certification review and exams on June 4-5. The event wrapped up on Monday with CEDIA University Seminars and Core Curriculum courses. In addition, free Static and Active Manufacturer Product Training was provided.
A new addition to the program this year was the Installer Level I exam administered in French to better suit the majority of attendees. Also, Positive Marketing AV sponsored a casino night on Sunday, June 5.
