CEDIA Management Conference Provides Answers
How do you keep good employees when you don’t have room to promote them? How do you finish a job when the homeowner isn’t cooperating? When should you add a showroom — is it ever worth the risk?
CEDIA Management Conference
Answers to questions like these could mean the difference between success and failure for your company. But where do you find the answers? Not in a book. Not at a general management seminar. Only at the CEDIA Management Conference.
Only the CEDIA Management Conference has the answers to your toughest management questions. That’s because only CEDIA gives you networking and peer-to-peer idea sharing with owners and senior managers of the world’s leading custom electronic companies.
The 2005 Management Conference features three speakers who focus on the areas of vision, leadership, and action — the skills needed to be an effective leader and manager. As part of the networking experience, cross-industry business veterans are available to speak on topics such as operations, accounting/finance, customer service, and human resources. In addition, small group topics include cash flow management, organizational structure, labor efficiency, closing out the job, project management tools, customer service, sales compensation, education/training, sales, and lead generation/outreach. The CEDIA Management Conference covers every aspect of your business.
Make your plans now for the CEDIA Management Conference, April 6-9, 2005, at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country in San Antonio. For more information, visit the CEDIA website at www.cedia.org/education/management_conf.php.
SAN FRANCISCO REGIONAL: OFFERING CEDIA UNIVERSITY EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
How far would you go to significantly increase your profits, turn your newest employees into savvy professionals, or establish instant credibility with potential customers?
You don’t have to go very far at all, because CEDIA is bringing it to you. The new CEDIA University Regional Education program now offers you a core curriculum, the finest selection of highly rated CEDIA seminars, free comprehensive manufacturer product training in two formats, and CEDIA Certification review and exams. It’s all offered in a location near you, at a time that is convenient, and at a cost that could pay out within the first hour of training.
CEDIA University Regionals offer education for new employees, seasoned veterans and old pros — there is something for everyone. In addition to CEDIA Certification reviews and exams, CEDIA University Core Curriculum is offered: Electronic Systems Technician, Electronic Systems Design, Electronic Systems Project Management, Electronic Systems Customer Relations, and Electronic Systems Business Management.
For the first time, CEDIA is offering free manufacturer product training in two completely different formats: active and static. During active manufacturer product training, several manufacturers come together to offer hands-on training combined with one or more dynamic, active systems. Customized sessions and schedules allow thorough product presentation. Each hour of training received counts toward CEDIA Certification CEU credits.
Static product training also offers focused training on manufacturers’ products, but these 90-minute classes utilize presentation materials and lecture material. These classes also count toward CEDIA Certification CEU credits.
CEDIA University seminars make up the elective portion of the five curricula. Seminars are created and delivered by industry experts. Seminars not only provide an excellent opportunity to stay abreast of new technology and business developments by offering the perspective of experienced professionals. Seminars are also a great way to earn CEUs.
CEDIA Certification is a great tool to show that you have proven skills for your area of expertise. CEDIA Certification also is the product of nationally recognized subject matter experts and one of the leading certification and licensure testing companies in the global market. It’s certification you can trust to take you to the next level — right along with your profits. The CEDIA Certification Program is comprised of three sections: Installer Level I, Installer Level II, and Designer.
