Aurora Multimedia Announces Partner/Certification Program

Aurora Multimedia recently announced an industry partner and certification program that seeks to foster the creativity of integrators, programmers, consultants, and manufacturers in the creation of versatile tools for systems integration. Coined “Certifiably WACI,” the program shares the light-hearted naming style of the Aurora product line, yet it is a very robust and serious program.
For dealers and consultants, the program is primarily about training and successful deployment of the WACI NX control system series. For software developers and manufacturers Certifiably WACI represents an opportunity to create new or value-added products for sale.
In an industry with hundreds of partner, affiliate, certification, and other programs that serve members in many ways, Certifiably WACI stands apart from the rest. According to Andy Fliss, VP of sales and marketing for Aurora, “The wide-open nature of the WACI NX platform invites unbridled creativity on any scale. Everything from software for automatic GUI generators to video distribution plug-in modules can be created by Certifiably WACI Partners. There is virtually no limit to the marketplace that WACI creates, and this new program is where it begins.”
“What we’ve successfully created,” says Aurora Multimedia CEO Paul Harris, “is a WACI-protected environment for our plug-in partners.” According to Harris, once an application or product is set up as Certifiably WACI, it will be hard-coded to a particular WACI, making piracy nearly impossible.
