BICSI Executive Director Resigns

BICSI announced that David C. Cranmer has turned in his resignation.

BICSI announced that David C. Cranmer has turned in his resignation, citing personal reasons. The BICSI Board of Directors has appointed Betty M. Eckebrecht as acting executive director, effective immediately.

“Betty has proven her leadership skills with BICSI in the past as interim executive director and continues to be an excellent chief financial officer of BICSI,” said Edward J. Donelan, BICSI president.

“David contributed to the success of BICSI in many ways,” Donelan continued. “Although this is disappointing news to our community, we look forward to the future with an opportunity to all work together and maintain our directions with the BICSI Strategic Plan, the BICSI NxtGEN Business Plan, and our Outreach Program. Most important to BICSI is adherence to our core purpose — advancing the knowledge and success of our members, their customers, and the information transport industry, as well as adherence to our core values — integrity, leadership, and respect.

BICSI’s Executive Director Search Committee will begin the process of selecting a new executive director immediately.
