Residents and visitors of Brandywine Senior Care's Whiting Health & Rehabilitation location in Whiting, New Jersey, are enjoying the sights and sounds of sunny beaches, rainforest waterfalls, and tropical fish without ever having to leave the building. That's because Brandywine Senior Care has turned to Screen Dreams, a leading developer of DVD screensavers, for a holistic, high-tech way to help relax and entertain its residents and their families. Screen Dreams' colorful, animated, and stunningly realistic scenes are being played 16 hours a day on a flat-panel TV prominently hung in the lobby of Whiting Health & Rehabilitation.

"Our screensavers were specifically designed to provide the holistic benefits of relaxation and stress-reduction," says Stephen Spivak, founder and president of Screen Dreams. "And we're proud that a medical institution as respected as Brandywine is using our soothing natural scenes to enhance the lives of their patients and residents."

The Living Beaches, Living Waterfalls, and Living Marine Aquarium screensavers, all with natural sound effects and background music in Dolby Digital Audio, have been so popular with residents, visitors, and staff, that Brandywine Senior Care plans to install flat-panel TV's and Screen Dreams screensavers in at least five more of its 18 locations throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.

"Screen Dreams' screensavers have been a unanimous hit," says Brenda J. Bacon, president and CEO of Brandywine Senior Care, Inc. "We bought a flat-panel TV specifically to display these soothing scenes for our residents and their families, and the screensavers have added a real sense of warmth and welcome to the lobby area of Whiting Health & Rehabilitation. I'm excited to put Screen Dreams' screensavers into several more of our facilities."

"Screen Dreams' animated scenescapes are a relaxing, soothing alternative to network TV, radio, and other 'background noise'," says Wendy Warner, M.D. of Medicine in Balance, a holistic healing consultation center based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. "They create a healthy, stress-free atmosphere wherever they are displayed. They are also appropriate for people who insist on falling asleep with the TV on, because they aren't noisy or obtrusive."

Adapted from the world's most popular computer screensavers, Screen Dreams' Living Series DVD's transform a turned-off flat-panel TV screen into a beautiful natural "scenescape" designed to brighten and enliven a room, instead of darkening it with a black void. Instead, all four screensavers have a holistic, calming affect on viewers. The Living Aquarium screensaver turns a flat-panel screen into a virtual aquarium that needs no maintenance or upkeep. Living Beaches transports viewers to the beach without the hassle of sand or sunburn. Living Waterfalls delivers tropical views of jungle and forest locations with cascading and soothing music and animation. Living Butterflies enchants viewers with butterflies that flutter over rolling hills, flowers, and grassy fields.

Each Screen Dreams DVD contains 90-103 minutes of total content, which can be set to loop continuously, and switch periodically between three different animated scenes. The DVD's can be played with or without music and sound effects, in any combination. Screen Dreams DVD's retail for $19.99 each, and are available at www.ScreenDreamsDVD.com.
