U.K.-based Brick House Video has appointed Wes Simpson as channel manager for the United States and Canada. He is based in Orange, Conn.
Simpson’s new responsibilities consist of supporting major accounts and enriching distribution channels for the company’s Callisto vision switcher series, including the three-input Callisto Micro.
Coming from his own company, Telecom Product Consulting, Simpson has been active in the broadcast and telecommunications sectors for more than 30 years. For the past nine, he has run his own business as a strategic consultant in product management, business development, and marketing. Simpson is a published author of several technical articles and books and a frequent industry lecturer.
“Wes’s outstanding industry knowledge and vast experience is a solid asset as we affirm our commitment to the North American market,” said Julian Hiorns, Brick House Video’s managing director, in a statement.
