BTX Named Soundog Distributor

BTX Technologies announced that it has been chosen as the U.S. distributor of the Soundog audio system.

BTX Technologies announced that it has been chosen as the U.S. distributor of the Soundog audio system. The Soundog, manufactured by Sprox, consists of a 4-, 6-, or 8-channel transmitter and wireless tabletop loudspeakers that allow restaurant and sports-bar patrons to hear the audio from any display in the establishment from their tables.

The Soundog has a long-range frequency that permits customers to chose audio for one of eight programs being simultaneously broadcast in the establishment. The bar or restaurant selects the programming, but the customer can control the volume via digital push buttons and on/off volume control on a hand-held unit.

“We selected BTX as the U.S. distributor for Soundog based on the company’s history of quality representation, dedication to innovation, and its vast network of representative channel partners,” said Doug Buday, CEO of Sprox. “We are confident that this agreement will provide greater access to Soundog for a broader customer base, while also offering hands-on, high-quality service.”

“We are proud to be the Soundog distributor in the U.S.” said Greg Schwartz, president of BTX. “It is a real breakthrough product that brings the game to life for sports fans, while also increasing profits for bar and restaurant owners.”

Live demos of the Soundog will be held at the BTX booth at InfoComm 08 in Las Vegas, June 18-20.
