ISE Announces Initial and Pending Sales
Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), the new electronic systems integration conference and exhibition, has announced the sale and pending sale of nearly 50 percent of its exhibition space in the early weeks of its availability. The pan-European trade show, which debuts next February 3 through 5, has sold 31,281 net square feet of exhibition space and anticipates the sale of 10,764 square feet more in the coming weeks. This represents almost half the available exhibition space of 75,350 square feet for ISE at the Geneva PalExpo exhibition hall 6. Exhibition space has been committed by more than 50 companies from nearly a dozen countries spanning Europe and North America, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong.
NSCA Partnership Delivers Associate Degrees to ESTs
Electronic systems technicians (ESTs) may earn associate's degrees after supplementing the NSCA's EST Training Series with 18 general-education hours offered online from Kirkwood Community College. Recently named National Alliance of Business Community College of the Year, Kirkwood is located in eastern Iowa. Because the classes are available online, students nationwide have the opportunity to earn the two-year associate of applied science degrees from the community college. Using Blackboard technology, software common to many colleges and universities, the NSCA EST Training Series is a four-year, e-based training program that also offers options of federally approved EST apprenticeship programs and systems certification designations.
