CEA Mourns Recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award
Jerry Kalov, the first recipient of Consumer Electronics Association's Lifetime Achievement Award, died from leukemia March 1, 2005. Kalov was active in CEA, serving first as the organization's chairman from 1992 to 1994, and then as an industry executive advisor on CEA's executive board and its board of industry leaders.
Kalov held a number of key executive positions during more than 46 years in the electronics industry and was instrumental in numerous charitable and industry fundraising events, especially connected with the Northridge Hospital Development Association in California and the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago.
