The Designer I certification exam debuts at the Miami Regional Education event, March 5, at the Miami Hyatt. In conjunction with the Regional, CEDIA will offer an exclusive day-and-a-half seminar created to prepare designers for the new exam. Members Forum Has the Answers
Have you ever had a question about an installation technique that you just couldn’t answer? Or maybe you were unfamiliar with the discrete codes for a certain product or needed testimonials on products you were considering. The CEDIA Members Forum is a great place to post questions to your peers and seek advice on best practices. Old messages are archived so you can see if your question has already been addressed. Boot Camp Registration Open
Have new hires? Get them trained the right way. Been in the industry awhile? Brush up on your installation skills. CEDIA offers its signature Boot Camp three times a year, and registration is now available at cedia.org/education/index.html.
Each Boot Camp session will be held in Indianapolis at the brand new CEDIA Training Center. Geared specifically for entry-level installers, the 3-day, hands-on course teaches all the basics and many secrets to custom-installation success.

Hotels
CEDIA has blocked rooms at many hotels around Minneapolis. Hotel requests must be submitted in writing via the housing page or faxed using the form found on CEDIA’s Web site. All hotel reservations will be managed by ETS. Reservations are available now but will fill quickly.
