ClearOne Receives Market Leadership Award

ClearOne Communications Inc. (www.clearone.com), a developer, manufacturer and provider of conferencing products, has received the 2004 Market Leadership Award from independent growth consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.
The award recognizes ClearOne’s leadership in the installed sector of the audio conferencing systems industry, as well as its ability to identify and develop strategies to address the market’s various challenges, drivers and restraints.
To select the award recipient, Frost & Sullivan analysts tracked market share within the industry for calendar year 2003 through interviews with all market participants, and conducted extensive secondary research of proprietary data sources. They then compared competitors for relative position to determine the company with the highest industry rank.
According to Frost analyst Jim Regan, ClearOne continued to lead the industry with almost 50 percent market share, which is up nearly four percent from the prior year. “This improvement truly shows their success and leadership within this industry,” he said. “They have maintained their leadership through innovation and development of products that meet the needs of the market.”
