Mike Keough has resigned as president and chief executive officer of ClearOne Communications (www.clearone.com). The company has begun the search for a new CEO.

ClearOne’s executive team, under the direction of the board, will address all CEO-level matters until a replacement is hired. During the past year, the executive team has executed on several initiatives, including returning the company to a focus on new product development, which leverages ClearOne’s core expertise in audio engineering; strengthening its international and domestic distribution channels; and improving operational efficiencies in the areas of manufacturing, purchasing, and quality. The company says this management change will not impact ClearOne’s business initiatives, because it will maintain its emphasis on these and other key areas of focus going forward.

The company reiterates that it intends to file all historical financial results prior to the September 28, 2004, deadline for filing its fiscal 2004 annual report on Form 10-K.
