Industry Vet Passes Away

Marcel Daugherty died at the age of 46 in April following a motorcycle accident. Daugherty spent more than 20 years in the audio/video industry as a professional and custom installer, and he was employed at OmniMount Systems in Phoenix for the past five years, where he was marketing manager for audio/video products. Born in Scottsdale, Daugherty was also a music minister at St. Patrick's Catholic Community Church, a member of the Civil Air Patrol as a certified pilot, a paddock master and announcer for the U.S. Equestrian Horse Shows, and a member of the Desert Paddlers Club. He was also certified in Mountain Search and Rescue.
