Sennheiser has launched a Web site that offers tools and resources for finding available frequency bandwidth in the United States. The site has recommended tunings for Sennheiser Evolution Wireless and 3000 and 5000 RF Series systems for situations that require the retuning of factory presets or in which multichannel requirements exceed the system's factory presets. A three-step guide lets engineers download Sennheiser wireless equipment stock frequency and custom grouping guides.
NewTek has added its 100th LightWave 3-D tutorial on the NewTek Web site. The tutorials were created by NewTek staff and by members of the community of LightWave users. The new tutorials range from beginner to advanced level and cover a variety of topics, from interactive walk-throughs of the interface to basic modeling techniques to soft body dynamics and expressions for physics.
Midas recently launched Midas Direct, a Web-based service designed for the sale of preowned Midas consoles. As part of the Approved Pre-Owned Console Programme, Midas engineers inspect each console to ensure that everything is in order. The exclusive point check covers mechanical and electrical components, the chassis, all modules, the case, and power supplies. The console is then thoroughly music tested before being offered for sale on the Web site.
