Smarthome has launched a free nationwide database of home automation installers and dealers. On the Web site, enter your desired home automation project and contract information to view a list of dealers and installers in your area. You can then choose to have your contact information forwarded to as many as three local installers, who will contact you through e-mail. You can then select from a variety of home installation project categories, including whole-house automation, home theater, whole-house audio, security and surveillance, lighting, heating and air conditioning, and pool and spa.
Bud Industries, a manufacturer of electronic enclosures, offers the ability to select racks and all relevant accessories with a linked two-click online selection feature. The first click selects your rack or enclosure based on your specific dimensional requirements. The site then displays the relevant accessories for that rack, allowing you to then click to select accessories. The accessories are automatically indexed to your dimensions selection.
OnQ Technologies has launched its new Web site. The redesigned site takes advantage of the interactive nature of the Internet and provides a variety of online tools and resources for OnQ customers, such as online technical support, an updated literature library, featured products, news and information, programs, events, and training. The Web site provides access to a variety of audience-specific information separated into four sections for builders, installers, home owners, and distributors. OnQ customers can directly access information that is specific to their needs by navigating into one of the four customer areas.
