The Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio recently redesigned its Web site and changed the URL. The foundation, which presents the annual Technical Excellence and Creativity (TEC) Awards for the professional music and sound production industry, created the new site to improve user accessibility and provide a comprehensive resource for those wishing to learn more about the foundation's activities. The newly designed site, by Windesheim Design of San Francisco, features a clean, readable style and is easier to navigate, affording greater access to information about the foundation's fund-raising events and the programs it supports. Users can learn about the TEC Awards and the Mix L.A. Open charity golf tournament, as well as the various organizations that receive foundation funding for their hearing conservation and audio education programs.
Sennheiser has launched a new online repair service registration and tracking Web site. The user-friendly Sennheiser Service System allows customers to enter information into the company's Eclipse service database in order to return faulty equipment and track repair status. The site allows Sennheiser end-users to register, enter their pertinent information, and receive shipping instructions using a three-stage process. Customers begin by registering and entering a user name, password, and contact information and then proceeding to a second page, where they enter product and serial number information as well as a description of the fault. Products under warranty can be indicated during this stage. The third and final page generates a service return authorization number and a printable shipping label for affixing to the shipping carton containing the item for repair.
