Electronic House Magazine Names ELANs’ Ole` As A 2006 Product of the Year

ELAN Home Systems, a leading manufacturer of award-winning multi-room AV and home automation systems, announced that Electronic House magazine has named the company’s revolutionary and highly anticipated Ole` film-interactive touchpad as one of its Electronic House Products of the Year for 2006.
Scheduled for full unveiling at CEDIA 2006 in Denver after shipping first production units in August, ELAN’s introduction of its Ole` touchpad establishes a completely new interface product category and marks yet another game-changing industry-first for the company. Offering 1,500 unique design possibilities upon initial rollout at $380 MSRP, ELAN will release full details on the patent-pending Ole’ at CEDIA Expo in September in booth #159.

Electronic House’s Product of the Year Awards are presented annually by EH Publishing and honor the best in home automation and home entertainment products. The editors of EH Publishing’s four magazines that are dedicated to the electronic house all choose their favorite products through a democratic voting process. Award recipients were chosen based on reviews that ran throughout the year, product demos, and surveys conducted with the installers and users of the products. Topping the list of criteria is technological innovation, overall value, and outstanding features.
