Please don't overload [your e-mail newsletter] with commercials, promotions and glitter. I would like to see more informational items directed to those in the A/V industry.

Our Readers Are a Savvy Bunch

Mr. Peter Mapp wrote an article in the November issue called “Sound Power: The Forgotten Loudspeaker Characteristc.” It was very useful for me, but I think the formula
Lp = Lw + 10 log (Q/4pr2 + R/4)
should read:
Lp = Lw + 10 log (Q/4pr2 + 4/R)
