FSR Promotes Two of its Most Talented Employees

Ramon Cruz and Roberto Santiago shine at FSR with their technical knowledge and management skills. This year, their talents were recognized and rewarded as Jan Sandri, president, promoted each of them to management positions in their individual departments.
Cruz has been part of the FSR team for the past six years. Originally hired as a production supervisor, he now manages his entire department of 13 highly skilled production technicians. Cruz oversees all electronics and assembly including PC board assembly with surface-mount and thru-hole technology. His training over the years, including Passaic County Technical and Vocational High School and a degree in computer science from Rutgers University, has offered him a firm understanding of how products need to be assembled for top notch performance in the field.
Roberto Santiago
At FSR, once the products are created, they need to be tested for quality. Santiago, FSR’s newly promoted technical service manager, is responsible for testing each and every product sold at FSR. In addition to testing all new products, Santiago oversees all incoming product repairs. With a product line of hundreds of table, wall, and floor boxes and switching and controlling equipment, testing procedures are essential and can be lengthy to ensure FSR provides its clients with the best products available. Santiago received his technical training at TCI (Technical Career Institute) in New York, and has been with FSR since December 2003.
“FSR is lucky to have two of the sharpest minds in the industry overseeing all aspects of our products from creation to sale to operation,” remarks Sandri. “They are directly responsible for making sure FSR products are the best on the market and ensuring their operating longevity.”
