Glendale, Calif.-based GBH Communications, a provider of conferencing solutions, products, and services, announced its “Going Green” Initiative, a program designed to create awareness among its customers and employees of the ways they can protect and improve the environment.

Eco-friendly elements already in place include environmentally friendly shipping materials, regular recycling pickups for used or broken electronics, recycling stations in all offices, high-efficiency lighting, and ultra-violet self-sanitizing water coolers.

“We are excited to be able to participate in an industry that holds so much potential for actually making a difference in the environment,” said Von Bedikian, founder and CEO of GBH Communications. “However, it is one thing to recommend new technologies to our clients and customers that can help the environment, but we wanted to also demonstrate that as a company.”
